I burned my hand.
I made a cake, a beautiful cake using vodka and Kahlua, and it smells like warm heaven.
The hot pad slipped when I was pulling it out of the oven, and I have two burns on the palm of my right hand. It stings, and I'm a big baby. It's also hard to type when one's hand is wrapped in bandages.
No, I did not consume any of the vodka before pouring it into the batter.
No, not the Kahlua either.
Now, perhaps, would be a good time for that drink.

Ooh, recipe? Sorry about the hand.
I once burned my hand on a hot pan coming out of the oven, which caused me to drop the pan, and then break the glass in the door.
Bonus, I had an awesome streaking scar across my wrist. You get stared at for those.
I hope your burn is healing quickly! Ouch!
I burned myself on a hot meatloaf pan a couple of weeks ago, but there was no major damage (thank goodness). I somehow seem to burn myself every time I use the oven on my "new" stove (it's actually a couple of years old, but I never had that issue with the old one).
It makes me think the oven is out to get me. :\
Ouch, yes a Russian drink of your choice sounds like the perfect cure.
I have a burn on the back of my hand from hot flan sugar...from 1992.
It's like a gourmet tattoo.
The cake sounds delish!
